I've been trying to remember what I used to ink these early pages. I think it was a dip pen/nib and ink, which I used for a really long time. I was drawing on printer paper at the time, which is depressing because it tends to crumple easily, especially when you're erasing your pencils.

I don't know why I specified a number of Dreamers. It seems unnecessary.

That's definitely baby Ellie in those panels, her father died in the war concurrent to her birth and her mother was obsessively overprotective of her. Before becoming an official Dreamer they were just a single mother and her child trying to scrape by.
