This scene does a few things: shows what's going on with the opposition and antagonist, shows the dynamic that Lucian and Tailor have, and shows what they do and don't know but maybe not, because Tailor probably isn't being truthful here, what with knowing the Dreamer isn't traveling with people actually working for the North.
