So Melissa here is going through an entire thought process that I'm not going to detail but the end result is something like, "If I don't care what this guy thinks about me why am I letting him get under my skin like he's obviously trying to do," and then she stops seeing him as someone who used to be her friend and he can keep playing fifth dimensional chess or whatever but she's just gonna do what she's here to do.
