I actually had to flip back and forth from the previous page to this one and look over the original scan of this page because the verbal transition between pages is really terrible and it's unclear what Melissa's even talking about in the first panel. I'm now fairly certain she's talking about plotting a route to where they're supposed to go in the desert.
