I had a very long time to think about how I wanted to do this scene, and it went through a few iterations, none of which I remember because this is the one I settled on and the rest became unimportant.

The relative simplicity of the backgrounds meant I could concentrate on getting everyone to look good for these few pages and I'm really glad it worked out that way.
